Commissions:

First payment: If the first payment has been made and no sketch has been started, I will offer a full refund. If I have started / completed the sketch, I will offer you a refund worth the amount you paid minus £50.00, this is due to the paper becoming unusable for other projects once the composition sketch is drawn on, plus the time spent on it.

Second & final payment: Due to the nature of custom personalised artwork, commissioned portrait sales are final cannot be refunded if work has already started or been completed.

Originals, Prints & Other:

If you are unhappy with your purchase and seek a refund, a full refund may be processed, but only once the item is shipped back and received undamaged. Cost of return shipping is at the buyer’s expense. In the unfortunate and highly unlikely case of a damaged product, please feel free to simply contact me immediately to see if resolutions can be made.

6. Liabilities:

For purchases made from outside of the UK, any additional custom & tax fees that may occur when the package reaches your country are the responsibility of the buyer. These charges will vary depending on where you are located. I shall not be responsible for any of these fees.

7. Prices:

I reserve the right to determine the prices for any of my art products. Product prices and shipping costs are subject to change at any time. If you have already placed your deposit for a commission, an increase or decrease in price will not effect your original quoted cost.

8. Artwork accuracy:

As a result of having different screens across devices, the colours may vary of the artwork to how you view it on your own device.

For pastel artworks that have a colour background, portraits come with a blank border a few millimetres thick on each side where the paper was taped to my desk, this also makes it possible to pick the drawing up without disturbing / touching any of the pastel itself. Please keep in mind that this will very slightly reduce the portrait size when coming to choose a picture mount for your frame. Professional framers should be able to factor this in.

Actual paper sizes may be slightly larger or smaller than the chosen size on any side due to having to custom cut the paper from large sheets.

9. Changes to completed commission:

Once I am adding the final touches to your commissioned artwork, I will send you a high quality photo to confirm your satisfaction. If you wish to have any details or aspects of the artwork changed, I am more than happy to do so within reason. If you require a significant change, this will incur an extra charge. Please note that I may not be able to make some significant changes once the artwork is completed due to the nature of the materials.

10. Framing:

I currently do not offer framing options, artworks will arrived unframed.

11. Copyright information:

As per UK copyright laws, copyright for commissioned artwork of pets or personal family members belongs to the commissioner. I will never recreate or reproduce a clients personal portrait for anyone else. The copyright for any of my non-commissioned artworks remain with me and I reserve the right to reproduce those images.
