1 First, please complete the commission submission form below. I will respond via email to let you know an estimated completion time depending on my current schedule. If happy, please reply to my email with your reference photo(s) and any other information you would like me to know! Once we have chosen a suitable photo, I will send you a link through my website to pay the first 50% of the portrait cost to start the process. Payments are made securely via my website’s checkout.
2 Next, I will send you a mock-up of your reference photo with the selected background ideas, cropped to the exact dimensions of your chosen paper size. When you’re happy with the idea, I will then soon work on your portrait’s composition sketch & update you with a photo via email. After you have approved the composition sketch, I will keep it safely stored away until your time comes in my schedule for me to start the work on your portrait.
3 As soon as I have completed the drawing, I will send you a photo of the result and ask if any changes are needed. Once the artwork is to your satisfaction, I will send you the second and final payment link through my website to pay the remaining 50% + shipping costs. After the payment is complete, I will safely package up your portrait and send it with full UPS tracking information.

I currently do not offer framing options, however, I personally use frame-company.co.uk and they have very kindly given my clients a promotional offer at checkout for 15% off using the code ‘ShaymusArt‘. I highly recommend their professional and good valued service (not sponsored).
I don’t detailed illustrated backgrounds in the price but do offer a colour, or a colour gradient of your choice. If you wish to have a background illustrated, I can give you a quote depending on how complex the background is. Portrait background colour ideas can be found HERE.
Each portrait comes with a 10% off voucher for a future portrait. This can be redeemed by the commissioner or by a friend who would like their own portrait. Your portrait will also include a certificate of authenticity & a downloadable process reel.
Shipping is done via UPS and is priced at affordable & fair rates, I aim to keep these costs as low as possible. Your portrait will come with tracking info as soon as it’s sent. This is paid along with the remaining 50% portrait cost upon completion. Check rates HERE.

For purchases made from outside of the UK, any additional import custom duties & tax fees that may occur depending on your country are your responsibility.
If you would like to write up a few sentences about his/her personality, I would love to hear it. It helps me incorporate a true sense of them into the portrait.
