Below I have put together a selection of background colour ideas that I think would pair great with commissions. Each commission is different so it is important to think about which colours may work best with the colour of the subjects involved. When commissioning, I will be able to send you a few photo mock-ups of your portrait with some of the various colour ideas below so you can get a sense of your desired outcome. Please note that as I create the background colours with pastel for the solid & gradient paper colours, these colour ideas are an approximation that I aim to achieve as close to as possible using soft pastel sticks.
